Crafted with 100% natural macrame that comes from eco-friendly harvesting. Natural buriti fiber strings were embroidered on its base. This piece was made by 4 people and it took 180 hours of handcraft.
THE AKRA PROJECT
One of the main purposes of the Akra Project is to benefit the artisan communities through a sustainable socio-economic network, retributing the cultural and artisanal heritage that the skilled hands of the natives apply to the products created.
The Akra Project is made up of the skilled hands and minds of artisans from the Brazilian northeast, trained and accompanied by the designer Samuray Martins, creator and director of the project.
